The idea of sustainability is firmly anchored in Systain's corporate philosophy. As a sustainability consultancy, it is our duty to act in a socially and ecologically responsible way in everything that we do as a company. We are for example committed to maintaining fair relationships with our service providers and offering good working conditions to our staff. And sustainability is always at the forefront of our mind when shaping our impact on the environment. When travelling for business, we prefer using the train and we always set off the CO2 emissions for plane journeys.

And we even go one step further:

Many of Systain's consulting projects are performed in so-called developing and emerging-market countries. Such countries are struggling with enormous social and ecological challenges, the characteristics of which are reflected in our daily work. We therefore wish to inspire positive developments beyond our consulting projects. The proprietor has decided to run Systain as an Ethical Business. Systain remains a strongly profit-oriented company – in the future, however, these profits will be used to fund social and ecological projects.

The projects that we will select will be directly related to our consulting services and core competences. Our extensive expertise in the area of CSR and sustainability enables us to recognize social and environmental problems that we would like to help solve. And we are perfectly positioned to select and evaluate different approaches to solving them.

In addition, Systain sees itself as a multiplier: we encourage our customers to participate in our selected social and ecological projects in addition to their own CSR measures.
